This statement describes a good-faith effort to make this Site usable for as many visitors as possible, built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. It has not been reviewed by a third-party accessibility auditor, and it isn't a legal certification of compliance with the ADA or any other law.
Our Commitment
This Site was built with accessibility in mind from its structure up, so that visitors using a keyboard, a screen reader, or assistive technology can find and use its content.
What This Site Does
- Structure: a single, logical heading order; landmark regions (navigation, main content, footer) that assistive technology can jump between; a "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
- Keyboard access: every interactive element — navigation, the mobile menu, video thumbnails, the video player, contact links — can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator. The video player can be closed with the Escape key, and focus moves to the close button automatically when it opens.
- Color contrast: text and background color combinations across the Site are checked against the WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and interface elements).
- Images: every photo on the Site has a written description (alt text) for people using screen readers.
- Motion: the moving ticker banner pauses on hover or keyboard focus. Visitors whose device is set to reduce motion will see animations minimized automatically.
- Resilience: the Site's content remains visible and readable even if a visitor's browser doesn't run its JavaScript.
Known Limitations
The video clips on this Site play through embedded YouTube players. Captions for those videos are controlled on YouTube's side, not by this Site's code — whether a given clip has captions depends on what's been enabled for it in YouTube Studio. Adding accurate captions there is the recommended next step toward full compliance for anyone who is Deaf or hard of hearing.
